Privacy policy

The short version

Dock & Key does not collect any data. There is no account, no server, no analytics and no advertising. Everything you type into a guidebook stays on your iPhone.

What stays on your phone

Your guidebooks — house details, Wi-Fi names and passwords, photos, local recommendations — are stored only on your device and in your own iPhone backup. We never receive them.

When you share a guidebook

When you send a guidebook to a renter or export it, the app creates a web page file on your phone and hands it to the share sheet you choose (Messages, Mail, Files and so on). Where it goes from there is up to you and the service you pick; Dock & Key does not upload it anywhere. Anyone you share it with can see what you put in it, including Wi-Fi passwords, so share it only with your guests.

The "Ask the house" helper

The helper inside an exported guidebook answers guest questions by searching the guidebook's own text on the guest's device. It does not send questions anywhere.

Purchases

Dock & Key Pro is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple handles the payment; we only learn that the purchase was made, so the app can unlock Pro.

Children

Dock & Key is a tool for rental hosts and is not directed at children.
